masters of great black and white photographers part 3

1.) I chose these photos because i like how he takes the black and white photos and how he has a really good picture quality on them how he focuses on the important thing but he also sneaks the tiny things in
the viewers attention. I like how he has a good back ground in all his photos that help the photo look better i like how he choses a good position for the photo.
2.)
I see....people cheering in the back ground i see the guy falling i see the back ground out of focus and the falling guy really good focused. I see the peoples faces filled with eximent , I see happy people i see cheerful people.
I smell..... the food the people are eating in the stadium i smell the sweat of the foot ball players.
I hear..... people cheering people crying and people laughing i hear the coaches screaming to the players for their best i hear the radio people screaming touch down i hear people stomping i hear the guy with snacks creaming out buy your snack here for only $5.00
I taste..... the air i taste the hot dogs the cold soda the nachos
I feel..... exited,surprised,amazed,victory,fairness

academics photo shoot preview

BEST STORY
This photo tells the best story because you can see the women making hot dogs and then you see people in front of them with a napkins in their hands with means they're waiting for they're hot dogs. This could be telling a story of charity people giving food to people that can't afford to buy some. This could also tell a story of people raising money for something and they are selling hot dogs.

ACTION OR EMOTION
this photo tells action & emotion because theres people in a circle holding hands and what seems to be
them praying they are taking action in something that they really care about.

FILLING THE FRAME
This photo is filling the frame because theres people everywhere and every one is happy.

mural project

1.) i could use the theme of color your heart using instagram! we could take photos of things we really like or people. we could also take photos of things we don't see in everyday life that would surprise people we could all decide on a photo to take and put that photo on the muffle of the mural.
2.) This theme would be a good thing to do so when students or teachers walk by they can get to see how we got together and made a big mural of things we really like and a lot of people have the same interests and they will like our mural. Also when we would have visitors they could walk by the hallway and see how all of our have our own things and how creative we could be.
3.) the advantages to using a phone camera is that we can photoshop and edit so we could get a clear picture and we could put some effects on the photo.the disadvantages are that we woul'nt get to take the picture with the SLR camera with would be two different photo qualities.
4.)The advantages for using SLR cameras is that when we would want to take a photo that is really far we could focus more than in a regular phone camera, and we would have a better quality of the photo.
5.) i think we should use phones & cameras if we what to take a picture and edit it we could use our phones and if we what to take a picture really pretty and focused we could use the SLR camera

quick write

i like both of them because one of them have color and you can see the picture with color and see the darks and lights of the picture. And with the black and white photo theres only two colors shown but the effect makes the photo look good.

Africa slide show reflection purpose to photography

This is a photo of a cheetah, the cheetah is standing on what seems to be a three
this is a very dark photo and the cheetah is looking off into something.
this is my favorite photo i just like it, the way the position of the cheetah makes it look good.
this photo looks like it could be simplicity.
he takes the photos so he can show people the animals while they are here.

fire quick write

This photo is interesting because in the background theres a lot of people cheering and i think
the guy that is jumping in the middle of the photo is a professional fire dancer.
theres fire on the floor stuff is burning and maybe they are celebrating fire or another thing, and they just decided to burn stuff up.

best and worst photos

This is a good photo because its focused on one thing and all of the photo is in black and white except the plant because the picture is focused on it.
this is a bad photo because the only thing i like is the back ground (the sky)
the floor the dirt is all ugly and everything is dead.

Elements of art and principles of design in photography

Line is a mark with greater length than width. Lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal; straight or curved; thick or thin.

Shape is a closed line. Shapes can be geometric, like squares and circles; or organic, like free-form or natural shapes. Shapes are flat and can express length and width.

Forms are three-dimensional shapes expressing length, width, and depth. Balls, cylinders, boxes, and pyramids are forms.

Space is the area between and around objects.

Color is light reflected off of objects. Color has three main characteristics: hue (the name of the color, such as red, green, blue, etc.),

Texture is the surface quality that can be seen and felt. Textures can be rough or smooth, soft or hard. Textures.

PRINCIPLES OF DESING
Balance is the distribution of the visual weight of objects, colors, texture, and space.
Emphasis is the part of the design that catches the viewer’s attention.

Movement is the path the viewer’s eye takes through the work of art, often to focal areas. Such movement can be directed along lines, edges, shape, and color within the work of art.
Pattern is the repeating of an object or symbol all over the work of art.

Rhythm is created when one or more elements of design are used repeatedly to create a feeling of organized movement.

Unity is the feeling of harmony between all parts of the work of art, which creates a sense of completeness.
this picture shows line,shape,form,color,texture,balance,emphasis,patter,movement,rhythm,unity
it shows the principles of design and the elements of art.

Quick write

Theres people in the background kneeling down praying, theres a girl in the middle of the picture holding up an object looking at something. some people find this insulting to the people that are praying
but she's just a little girl little kids don't know what they are doing.

Elements of art

Line is a mark with greater length than width. Lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal; straight or curved; thick or thin.
Shape Shapes can be geometric, like squares and circles; or organic, like free-form or natural shapes. Shapes are flat and can express length and width
Forms are three-dimensional shapes expressing length, width, and depth. Balls, cylinders, boxes, and    is the area between and around objects. The space around objects is of- ten called negative space; negative space has shape. Space can also refer to the feeling of depth.
Color is light reflected off of objects. Color has three main characteristics: hue (the name of the color, such as red, green, blue, etc.), value (how light or dark it is), and intensity (how bright or dull it is).

Texture is the surface quality that can be seen and felt. Textures can be rough or smooth, soft or hard.
 PRINCIPLES OF DESING

Balance is the distribution of the visual weight of objects, colors, texture, and space. If the design was a scale, these elements should be balanced to make a design feel stable

Emphasis is the part of the design that catches the viewer’s attention. Usually the artist will make one area stand out by contrasting it with other areas.

Movement is the path the viewer’s eye takes through the work of art, often to focal areas. Such movement can be directed along lines, edges, shape, and color within the work of ar
Pattern is the repeating of an object or symbol all over the work of art

Repetition works with pattern to make the work of art seem active. The repetition
of elements of design creates unity within the work of art.

Proportion is the feeling of unity created when all parts (sizes, amounts, or number) relate well with each other. When drawing the human figure, proportion can refer to the size of the head compared to the rest of the body.

photo manipulation and ethics

The picture that the new cabinet took had been photo shopped to remove female ministers
limor livnat and sofa landver replacing them with two men to create an all male cabinet.
a lot of photo graphers where photo shopping the photos to change some things. They would
ether add stuff or take stuff/people off the photo, they where all fired from their jobs.

This type of photo editing is not good if they are going to do it so it can damage anyone. but it would come out good for photographers to edit they're photos to make it look better or make it look more interesting.
