i like her photos because it focused on the important things first and they where good photos
she could improve the photos by taking them from different angles or taking photos with shading values

national Geographic warm-up

i chose this photo because i think the photo is cool. And how someone can take a picture of an eye when the eye is looking at something and that thing is getting reflected into the eye through the camera.
and also how the eye pupil looks the clearness of the photo.

simplicity photo composition

The car represents simplicity if you where to crop the picture the car would be the hole picture it would be a really simple picture all the picture would focus on would be the simple military car and the military people out of it.And the picture wouldn't have all the back ground like the lamp,or the buildings trees ect.

framing photo composition

This picture represents framing because the picture has to have some sort of framing on it so we can tittle it framing and the window represents a frame of the man in the car.

The window is making a frame of what is in the window, the man sitting in the

car is whats in the frame with makes the picture framing.  

The rule of thirds photo composition

This picture represents the rule of thirds because the object we are focusing on (the people)

they are on the right bottom center of the image. If we where to divide this picture into nine 

equal parts the fire fighters would be laying in the horizontal line dividing the picture into three equal parts.

avoiding mergers photo comosition

This picture represents avoiding mergers because the people in the pictue are running away from the falling building because they don't wanna be killed by it. some people are trying to avoid the problem and other people are trying togo help.

balance photo composition

This would be balance because all the color and elements 

are correctly balanced the colors in the back ground balances 

and the ground balances its only one color and its values in the middle 

the color is lighter and around the picture the color gets darker as it reaches the 

end.

lines photo composition

The moment he is falling represents lines because 

the building lines are what fill up the whole photo nothing takes the

viewers eyes away from the photo because theres nothing else you could 

focus on the ones take up the majority of the space in the photo and th mean only takes 

a little portion of the center of the photo the surroundings are lines and all the photo is lines.

intruduction photo compposition

the picture is showing us what the terrorist attack made to the twin towers 

and how much damage it made it also shows the people who are helping and its showing us that 

we help each other when we need it. 

color

The traditional primary colors are those of reflected light, known as painters’ primaries. These are the colors red, yellow and blue (RYB).

i picked this photo because its interesting to see how the world looks from the moons view.

i think this photo made the top 40 photos because its nice to see how the planet looks from other places and people really like seeing out of space photos.

i thin this photo made the top 40 because the holocaust is a really important event that left a mark on us

and nobody should be punished because of their beliefs or because they belief in different things as you do. everyone should be treated equal.

died:march19,1984 (aged 56)


Garry was born in new york Garry studied painting at city college of new york and photography at colombian university in new york city in 1948 he also attended a photo journalism class thought by Alexey brodovich. Garry is a dedicated photographer. Winograd made manny books like "the animals' in 1969 & relations in 1977. At the time of his death there was discovered about 2,500 rolls of undeveloped film, 6,500 rolls of developed but not proofed exposures, and contact sheets made from about 3,000 rolls.

in 1964 Winograd was awarded a guggenheim fellowship award to travel through america. Winograd died of gall bladder cancer he left behind nearly 300,000 unedited images.
